Safe to say that the visit to the farm was a huge success! The children loved petting and feeding the animals and learning that we must care and respect them in equal measure.

Our children love their forest school outings, where every stick, leaf, flower and muddy puddle becomes an opportunity to learn and grow.

As they observe nature up close, the children develop curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Listening carefully to safety rules and respecting boundaries helps them build confidence and learn how to take safe, managed risks.

Working together is at the heart of every session, whether it’s building, exploring, or sharing discoveries. These moments encourage teamwork, communication, and strong friendships 🌳

The children have recently been fascinated by birds 🐦 🪺 and began wondering why our birdhouse had no visitors.
“Maybe because it’s too small? Maybe it’s for little birds” one child thoughtfully suggested.
Inspired by their curiosity, one of our student teachers created a beautiful hands-on activity to explore different types of birds’ nests. The children examined how nests are built and what materials birds might use, sparking lots of ideas and creativity.
Using clay and a variety of natural resources, the children then designed and built their own nests 🌿🪵 Each one was unique, reflecting their imagination and growing understanding of the natural world.
A wonderful example of how children’s questions can lead to meaningful learning experiences 💚
